Breath Work helps quiet the mind, release stuck emotions, and open the heart. In my practice, I use the pranayama yoga two-stage breath to allow the breather to more easily access the energy moving within and beyond the body. As the awareness of energy increases, stuck emotions rise to the surface to be released. The experience can be physical, emotional, and sometimes even spiritual.

In this one-hour online breath work journey, I’ll open the space with a prompt, explain the breath pattern, and then hold space for approximately 40 minutes of breath work — 30 minutes of active breathing followed by 10 minutes of rest.

You will receive a Zoom link via email within a day of registering for the session to the email address associated with you PayPal account. A reminder will be sent out one hour before the session with the link included.

How to Prepare

  • Please set yourself up somewhere you can be comfortable and uninterrupted for the duration of the journey.

  • You may make some noise during the practice, so choose a space where you won’t disturb others (and they won’t disturb you).

  • You’ll want to be able to lie completely flat on your back — on a yoga mat, couch, or bed. I recommend keeping your head and knees flat rather than propped up.

  • Have a blanket nearby, as changes in body temperature are common during this kind of breath work.

  • During the session, I may cue you to use sounds such as yells, sighs, or groans to help move energy through the body. If this feels supportive for you, you may want to have a pillow or towel nearby to yell into.

  • An eye mask or covering for your eyes is optional, but recommended. It can help you turn your attention inward and settle more deeply into the experience.

  • Come as you are, absolutely no experience needed.
